Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin (or vegan alternative like agar-agar)
  • 2 cups filtered water
  • Optional sweetener (like honey or stevia)

Instructions

  1. Gather ingredients.
  2. In a small bowl, sprinkle the unflavored gelatin over 1 cup of cold water and let it sit for 5 minutes to bloom.
  3. In a small saucepan, heat another cup of water over medium heat until steaming but not boiling, then remove from heat.
  4. Gradually stir the bloomed gelatin into the warm water until fully dissolved (about 2-3 minutes).
  5. Stir in the apple cider vinegar and sweetener, if using, until combined.
  6. Pour the mixture into a mold or ice tray and refrigerate for at least 2-3 hours, or until fully set.
  7. Enjoy! Store in an airtight container in the fridge.

Notes

For a lighter version, reduce or omit sweeteners. You can also add lemon juice or fruit purees for extra flavor.
