Description

A refreshing and vibrant herbal infusion made from butterfly pea flowers, perfect for weight loss and hydration.


Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon butterfly pea flowers
  • 2 cups hot water
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon or lime
  • Sweetener (optional)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Boil about 2 cups of water in a kettle and remove it from heat.
  2. Place 1 tablespoon of butterfly pea flowers in a teapot or heatproof pitcher.
  3. Pour the hot water over the flowers and steep for 5-10 minutes.
  4. Strain the flowers using a fine mesh strainer.
  5. Add the juice of half a lemon or lime to the tea.
  6. Let the tea cool, then refrigerate for 30 minutes until chilled.
  7. Serve over ice and garnish as desired.
