Ingredients

- 1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin powder
- 1 cup warm water
- 1/2 to 1 cup cold water or ice
- 1/4 teaspoon lemon or lime zest (optional)
- A pinch of salt or an electrolyte packet (optional)
Instructions
- Measure and pour gelatin into a heatproof cup.
- Add 1/4 cup of warm water and stir until fully dissolved.
- Stir in 3/4 cup cold water or a mix of cold water and ice.
- Flavor gently with zest or extract if desired.
- Chill for 5 to 10 minutes in the refrigerator.
- Sip slowly about 10 to 20 minutes before your meal.
- Clean utensils promptly after use.
