Description

A simple, gelatin-based drink that can curb appetite and support mindful eating before meals.


Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin powder
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1/2 to 1 cup cold water or ice
  • 1/4 teaspoon lemon or lime zest (optional)
  • A pinch of salt or an electrolyte packet (optional)

Instructions

  1. Measure and pour gelatin into a heatproof cup.
  2. Add 1/4 cup of warm water and stir until fully dissolved.
  3. Stir in 3/4 cup cold water or a mix of cold water and ice.
  4. Flavor gently with zest or extract if desired.
  5. Chill for 5 to 10 minutes in the refrigerator.
  6. Sip slowly about 10 to 20 minutes before your meal.
