A soothing herbal tea sweetened with Manuka honey, perfect for supporting mindful eating and weight loss.
Ingredients

- 1 teaspoon Manuka honey
- 1 herbal tea bag or 1 tablespoon loose herbs (chamomile, lemon-ginger, or rooibos)
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- Fresh grated ginger or a cinnamon stick (optional)
- About 240 ml / 8 fl oz hot water (85-95°C)
Instructions
- Boil and cool water: Bring water to a boil and let it sit for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
- Prepare the cup and herbs: Place a tea bag or 1 tablespoon of loose herbs into a mug. Add optional spices.
- Pour and steep: Pour the hot water over the herbs and cover the cup. Steep for 4 to 6 minutes.
- Remove herbs and add lemon: Remove the tea bag or strain loose leaves, then add lemon juice and stir.
- Sweeten with Manuka honey: Stir in Manuka honey while the tea is warm.
- Cool slightly and sip slowly: Let the tea rest for 30 seconds to 1 minute before enjoying.
Notes
Adjust honey to your taste and consider using a caffeine-free herbal base for evening enjoyment.
