Description

A nutritious, low-calorie snack made from gelatin and protein, perfect for curbing cravings and supporting a weight loss plan.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package unflavored gelatin
  • 1 scoop protein powder (whey, casein, soy, or plant)
  • 1 cup water or low-calorie liquid
  • Sweetener to taste (stevia, erythritol, honey)
  • Fresh or powdered flavoring (berry puree, cocoa, lemon)
  • Optional: Greek yogurt or collagen peptides

Instructions

  1. Combine gelatin and a small amount of cold water in a heatproof bowl and let bloom for 2 to 5 minutes.
  2. Heat 1 cup of water to a gentle simmer, then stir in the bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved.
  3. Stir in protein powder and sweetener while the mixture is warm, whisking to avoid lumps.
  4. Cool the mixture slightly for 3 to 5 minutes before adding dairy ingredients.
  5. Pour into molds or a shallow pan and refrigerate for 1.5 to 3 hours until set.
  6. Remove from molds or cut into portions and serve chilled.

Notes

Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days. Taste and adjust sweetness as needed.
